The skill of Medicine is all about aiding a living beings natural ability to heal within the use of knowledge and aids (both artificial and natural) designed to enhance and assist as well as speed up the bodies ability to heal itself. The skill of Medicine is closely related to the Gnosis of Healing. Learning Medicine
The quickest easiest way to learn the skill of medicine is to apprentice to a person who already practices it. Many true healers (those marked by Rak'keli) also learn medicine as a means of augmenting their already formidable powers. Many of those who practice medicine also branch out into herbalism and learn how to incorporate the healing powers of plants into their practice as well. Medicine can be self taught as well, however this form isn't as reliable as learning the skill from someone already trained.
