Appearance
Kaito stands at about five feet and five inches tall. He weighs 167 pounds, and has rather pale skin. He has rather small eyes, over which a thin layer of skin droops, although, this does little to hide their intensity. Instead, if anything, it only serves to sharpen the dark brown color found within his iris. The black coals of his pupils. His face is that of an oval, with cheek bones which appear rather high for most men. It is framed by thin, relatively straight, black hair, similar to the color of a raven's feathers. His hair is kept short, no longer than three or four inches long at any given time, as is suitable for someone who works so closely with food. His nose is relatively large, and seems to jump out of the center of his face. His pale pink lips are rather full, and match the gentle curve of a gibbous moon.
Description
Kaito opened his restaurant shortly after his coming to Black Rock in 509 AV. No one knows where he came from, for he often keeps to himself, and speaks little of his former life. Rumor has it, however, that he once lived in Lhavit, and served as one of the Shinya's most acclaimed cooks. Kaito does little, if anything, to dispel these rumors, so engrossed is he with his work. He may often be found in the back of his shop, finely chopping vegetables and other ingredients for his sushi products. At times, he will wipe his brow with a small white towel, which he dangles over his right shoulder, atop the long sleeves of his simple tunic- either a white that matches the moon, or a deep blue that matches the night sky, which surrounds it. He speaks even less frequently than usual when he works, looking up only to take someone's order when they come to the counter, or to call out that someone's food is ready as he places it to the opposite side of his work space.
