A mage's Well is considered the sacred place within a person that concentrates and circulates all the Djed a mage holds in their body. Terms like 'tapping the well' refers to pulling forth and tasking djed for the purpose of casting magic. Each person's 'well' is different and holds a specific amount of djed unique to that individual. The Well is not the Soulcore. Magic does not come from a person's soulcore. Instead it comes from their Well.
