Syka
From Mizahar Lore
The Valterrian created as much as it destroyed. In the tropical region of the south, a number of new races emerged. One of these, the Jollai, as they called themselves, took up residence in the remnants of a Myrian village called Syka. Its previous inhabitants had left too late for the relative safety of Taloba, and perished. The Jollai were quite distinct, pale and hairless, with a number of dark markings over their skin; and they communicated like animals - in barks, growls, and grunts. In any other region, and they might have survived.
Any other region but Falyndar.
It didn't take long before surviving Myrians soon rode from Taloba, searching for any survivors who hadn't made it to the safety of the city. They were not remotely pleased to see these strangers settled in what was to them now a sacred place. Soon after, the Myrians came back in force with warriors clad in bone and leather, determined to annihilate the Jollai. They descended on Syka without warning or mercy, determined to kill each and every one of the these diminutive invaders. Only once the ground was thick with blood did they stop, and razed the remnants of Syka to the ground in hopes of purifying it.
The forest was allowed to grow over the remnants of the battleground, and all that remains, now, to point out Syka as a historical site is a simple stone pillar. Despite the rampant growth of foliage around it, the pillar in the center of the small grove remains untouched.
