History and Description
Ray'ken is the son of Vannis Skyglow and his wife Nakari Skyglow. He has a younger brother named Rakku Skyglow. Ray'ken is a very distant grandson of Pavic Skyglow, the famed master sculptor of the north. Ray'ken dreams of following in his great-grandfather's footsteps and one day taking is father's place as the leader of the Skyglow hold. Ray'ken and his father do not see eye to eye on most things which only fuels his desire to take his father's place. He works hard to further his art in order to have his art accepted into all the places his father's has been including The Sculpture Yard, The Ice Palace, and The Temple of Everwinter. His father does not give much notice to their one sided rivalry but Ray'ken vows that one day he will surpass his father and one day even surpass Pavic. On the other hand Ray'ken has a good relationship with his mother but does not dare speak to her about his resentment of his father.
Ray'ken, despite his strong aversion for his father, is a very happy young man. He spends lots of time at the Sculpture Yard and likes to visit Reikanni Frostfawn when he has some down time. Ray'ken is an average height for a Vantha male and has a more toned body than one would expect from an artist. His dark hair has streaks of blue in it when caught by the light. Ray'ken is quite popular among the girls in Avanthal and can be a big flirt when he wants to be. The majority of his time is spent trying to further his trade because that is what he views is his purpose. To bring beautiful art to Avanthal and his queen.
